I have been anticipating this day, sharing this beautiful wedding with you! I have known Abby for years and I couldn't have felt more honored to have her ask me to photograph her wedding! I always find it so special to hear from friends who without a shadow of a doubt, want me as their wedding photographer!
Abby and Charles were married June 3rd at the beautiful Ashton Creek Vineyard in Chester, Va. From the centerpieces to the signs throughout the aisle, Abby worked so hard on all of the details of her big day. Her dad spoke before dinner was served and mentioned how hard she worked on "making lots of stuff". We all laughed so hard because she really did put forth so much time and effort to make her wedding day absolutely perfect. From her flowers to her cake, everything went together perfectly.
I can't thank you enough Abby and Charles for choosing me as your wedding photographer! I had a wonderful time throughout your entire day and I can't wait for you to see all of your wedding day images!! For now, here are some of my favorites!!

Stephanie & Alex l Married
Stephanie and Alex were married at the gorgeous Dellwood Plantation in Chesterfield, VA. This venue is one of my favorites from the beautiful home on the property to the gorgeous gardens and open spaces. So many wonderful options for portraits! Stephanie and Alex shared a special first look before the ceremony and it could not of been more adorable! Their smiles were so big and the excitement for their ceremony was at an ultimate high! During the first look we found out that Alex in fact was getting deployed on Tuesday! We wanted to ensure we got so many amazing portraits for them, especially for Stephanie to stare at and cherish while Alex is overseas.
Before the ceremony, the clouds rolled in! They were able to complete their ceremony and a few family portraits before the down pour! We had a break in the rain to make it into the tent for their awesome reception! About an hour or so in the craziest storm rolled through with rain, hail and wind gusts. Stephanie, Alex and their guests made the best of the situation and still had an AMAZING time! :) I loved working with these two and will be thinking of them often over the next months to come!

Tessa & Cody l Married
Tessa and Cody could not of asked for a more beautiful day for their May wedding! The sun was shining, not a cloud in the sky!
Tessa and Cody were married right over the Virginia/Maryland border on family property owned by Cody's family. I am talking acres and acres of beautiful land! This home has been in their family for many years so it held great significance in their lives and throughout their love story.
So many people showed up from all over, including many men who served in the Marine Corps with Cody. It had a sense of a high school reunion but better! These guys shared many laughs throughout the night and it was truly awesome seeing so many people join together for two great individuals!
Tessa and Cody, I wish you guys nothing but happiness for the rest of your lives together! May you be blessed for many many years to come! Thank you for choosing me as your photographer. I take it as a true honor!
